You don’t need to purchase completely new cabinets, as many think. Refacing your current ones that can save you a ton of money and time, and still give you the same results as if you had gotten new ones. Moreover, it will also give you the satisfaction of a job well done if you DIY.

Keep in mind, if you are nervous about the amount of work and skill required to reface a cabinet, don’t be-it’s really not that difficult. You don’t need any carpentry or construction abilities at all, and you can even have someone come in and do it for you, if you want.
