Portable sinks can be used in many industries to help promote cleaning more and help us become a cleaner society in general. Portable sinks are easy to use and carry around, and can be placed in many easily accessible locations where sinks that have to be installed can not be placed. They are also helpful in controlling water usage because you can choose how much water is placed in the sinks and how much water is used when using the sinks; thus you do not have to worry about using way to much water when people are using the sinks to wash their hands.
Portable sinks can be especially helpful for people working in the food industry. Having a sink sitting right there where people are working around food will make it much more likely that people will actually wash their hands on a more regular basis. They are also helpful in making sure that people such as waiters and bus boys that do not always have access to a real sink are washing their hands after handling food. They are also good when people are handling food in outdoor locations such as picnics and carnivals where there is definitely no way that the person handling the food can get to a rest room to wash their hands.
They can also be extremely helpful in hospitals. Having them placed in many locations all over the hospital, in the rooms, and other places can also help promote cleanliness among the
hospital staff. When working in a chaotic environment like a hospital, it is almost impossible to always keep on top of washing ones hands.
